FEED ME: Montezuma

Montezuma is a small beach town on the southern tip of Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula. Also known as the Byron Bay of Costa Rica!

It's still dark. The sound of the waves are guiding you, as you walk barefoot onto the sand outside your room and you head towards the rocky headland that brings you just that much closer towards the rising sun on the horizon. Meditation at sunrise on the beach is forever my soul's happy place.

The 'tranquillo' tone of the morning carries on through the day as you hit the yoga mat, nurture your insides with delicious vegan treats and walk through the lush, green forest lining the coast, watching the monkeys playing mischieviously above, as you head towards any of the surrounding beaches nearby which shine even brighter than Montezuma itself.

And to finish the day in complete serenity, the half hour walk along the fresh water stream leads you to the local swimming hole at the base of a waterfall, where you wash away the salt from your skin and enjoy the fresh coconut that is being opened for you.

The perfect day ends as you enjoy a blissful nights sleep... then you awake and simply repeat!
